    Entrak Soothe Eye Ointment is a medicine used to treat allergic eye disease. It works by suppressing the immune response in the eye. Inhibiting specific immune cells activity reduces inflammation and symptoms such as itching, redness, and irritation.           

    Entrak Soothe Eye Ointment decreases the production of inflammatory chemicals by certain immune cells (T lymphocytes) and relieves redness and swelling. Never use Entrak Soothe Eye Ointment if the seal is broken before you use it for the first time. Wash your hands before using it. Follow the instructions given by your doctor and use it in the dose and duration suggested by the doctor. Make sure you remove contact lenses if you wear them and wait for at least 15 minutes before putting them back. You must inform your doctor if there’s no improvement even after two weeks of treatment or if it gets worse.      

    The most common side effects of Entrak Soothe Eye Ointment include eye irritation and burning sensation.     WHAT IF YOU FORGET TO TAKE ENTRAK EYE OINTMENT?

    If you miss a dose of Entrak Soothe Eye Ointment, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

    • You have been prescribed Entrak Soothe Eye Ointment to treat inflammation (redness and swelling) due to allergies of the eye.
    • If you wear soft contact lenses, remove them before using Entrak Soothe Eye Ointment and wait at least 15 minutes before putting your lenses back in.
    • Do not touch the tip to any surface, or to your eye, to avoid contamination.
    • It may cause minor burning, stinging, or irritation in the eye. Inform your doctor if this does not go away.
    • Consult your doctor if your eye condition has not improved after two weeks of treatment or if it gets worse.
    • Continuous long-term use of the ointment should be avoided.
